Why Minka?
After years working in bridal and fashion across Australia, Canada and Europe, Minka Atelier is now creating in Lyon, France.
With a background in fashion design and professional experience in bridal production and alterations, Yasmine brings both technical expertise and a love of beautiful details to every Minka piece.
Originally from Australia, Yasmine’s love for fashion took shape early on, leading her to earn a degree in fashion design in 2020. With over eight years of hands-on experience as a seamstress, she has developed a refined skill set spanning intricate alterations to custom product development.
Her journey includes a pivotal role at the renowned Australian bridal label Grace Loves Lace, where she worked in production and deepened her expertise in bridal wear. In 2023, she made the move to Montreal, where she focused on developing her brand.
Now based in France since early 2026, Yasmine is pouring her passion, craftsmanship, and global experience into Minka from her new location in Lyon.
